After losing my mother in law (a never-smoker) to lung cancer in 2013, I became invested in getting information out to the world about lung cancer prevention and treatment. I decided to work with the American Lung Association of Minnesota and their marquee event, the Minneapolis Fight for Air Climb, to advocate and get word out.
In 2017, I lost my grandfather to lung cancer and was unable to attend the Climb due to his funeral. Team Ferri was back at the Climb for 2018, 2019, 2020 and returns again for 2021. I hope to SMASH our previous fundraising goals!
